Terms of Service

Last updated: August 25, 2026

These are the actual terms, written to be read. The short version: a 6-month minimum, then month to month with 30 days notice. Your accounts, your data, and your guest app are always yours. Stay 5 years and your website is yours too.

1. The service

Tablefront LLC ("we", "us") provides fully managed digital services for restaurants: website design and management, hosting, search optimization, Google Business Profile management, direct online ordering, reservations management, review management, graphic design, and guest mobile apps for iPhone and Android, as described in your selected plan.

Services are performed by our team on your behalf. You do not manage software; you make requests and approve work. We use commercially reasonable skill and care consistent with industry standards.

2. Term, renewal, and cancellation

  • Every plan has a minimum term of 6 months from your first payment.
  • After the minimum term, monthly plans continue month to month and can be cancelled with 30 days written notice (email is fine).
  • Annual plans are billed once per year at 10 times the monthly rate (2 months free). They renew annually unless cancelled with 30 days notice before renewal. Annual payments are not refunded mid term except where required by law.
  • We never renew you into a new multi-month commitment without your explicit agreement.
  • We may end the agreement with 30 days notice, in which case we complete a full handover and refund any prepaid, undelivered period.

3. Fair use and service limits

Most requests are never an issue, and we would rather do more for you than less. These limits exist only to keep service fast for every client:

  • Content updates (menus, hours, prices, events, promo banners, photos): up to 8 requests per month, typically completed within 2 business days. Unused requests do not roll over.
  • A full redesign, new site sections, or new functionality beyond your plan is scoped and quoted separately before any work begins.
  • Graphic design plans include 5 graphics per month with 2 revision rounds each, delivered in print and social formats. Graphics do not roll over.
  • Review management covers the channels in your plan. We respond to reviews within 2 business days and escalate negative reviews to you before replying. We cannot guarantee removal of any review.
  • Photography is coordinated by us. On-site shoots are included only within our service area; elsewhere we arrange a local photographer and the photographer's fee is passed through at cost, always approved by you first.
  • The guest app add-on covers your iPhone and Android app, its store listings, and its ongoing updates. We write and send up to 4 push campaigns per month on your behalf and submit app updates as needed. App Store and Google Play review times are set by Apple and Google, not by us.
  • Support is available during business hours. If your website is down, we respond any time, any day.

4. Your accounts and your data

Your domain name, Google Business Profile, OpenTable account, customer lists, and business content are yours, always. Where we create accounts on your behalf, we create them in your name. If the agreement ends, we hand over all credentials and export your data at no charge.

5. Website ownership and buyout

Websites we build are licensed to you for use while you subscribe. Because we build them custom and price the build into your monthly plan rather than charging thousands up front, ownership of the website code transfers through the buyout schedule below, based on your total time as a subscriber:

  • Under 1 year: $4,500
  • 1 to 2 years: $3,500
  • 2 to 3 years: $2,500
  • 3 to 4 years: $1,500
  • 4 to 5 years: $750
  • 5 years or more: no charge, the site is yours
  • Buyout includes the complete website code and content, delivered ready to host anywhere, with reasonable transition help.
  • If you cancel without a buyout, we take the website offline at the end of your notice period. Your domain and all your content and data still go with you.

6. Your guest app

The guest app works differently from the website, and in your favor. We publish it under your own Apple Developer and Google Play developer accounts, in your restaurant's name, so the app, its store listing, its ratings, and its download history are yours from the first day.

  • There is no buyout schedule for the app. Nothing has to be bought back, because it was never ours.
  • You are responsible for the Apple and Google developer account fees, currently $99 per year and $25 once. We set the accounts up for you and never mark those fees up.
  • If the agreement ends, the app stays published under your accounts and we hand over the source code. Keeping it updated for new phones and new operating system versions after that is down to you or whoever you appoint.
  • Apple and Google decide what is allowed on their stores and how long review takes. We build to their guidelines and handle submissions, but we cannot guarantee their decisions or their timing.
  • Push notifications are sent only to guests who opted in, and every send follows the app stores' rules on marketing messages.

7. Payments

  • All payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Failed payments are retried; if payment remains unpaid for 14 days we may pause services until resolved.
  • Card processing fees on your customers' online orders are charged by the payment processor at their published rates and are separate from our fees.
  • We may change plan pricing with at least 30 days written notice, effective at your next renewal, never mid term.

8. Third-party services

Some services depend on platforms we do not control, including OpenTable, Google, your POS provider, and delivery marketplaces. Their fees, policies, and availability are theirs. We manage your presence on these platforms but cannot guarantee their behavior, uptime, or decisions.

9. What we do not guarantee

We work from published research and years of restaurant experience, and we report results honestly. Business outcomes depend on many factors we do not control, so we cannot guarantee specific rankings, review scores, order volumes, or revenue. Anyone who guarantees those is selling something else.

10. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability under this agreement is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or lost data held by third-party platforms. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Acceptable use

We do not publish content that is unlawful, deceptive, or infringing, and you confirm you have rights to the materials you provide (menus, logos, photos). Either party may end the agreement immediately if the other materially breaches it and does not fix the breach within 14 days of written notice.

12. Changes to these terms

If we update these terms, we will email you at least 30 days before changes take effect. If a change materially reduces what you receive, you may cancel without penalty before it takes effect, even during a minimum term.
